On Night Zero’s first away show, as an exhibitor at the inaugural Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo

Night Zero has been busy busy busy these past few weeks, so the blog has had some time off but I’m back and eager to tell about some of the exciting things we’ve been doing. Most significantly, two weeks ago we had our first “away show” at the first annual Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, colloquially marketed as C2E2. We brought our famous free HDR photobooth, as seen at ECCC and Crypticon, to capture Chicagoans in their post-apocalyptic zombie-hunting best. So Much Good Stuff

On the upcoming release party and comic conventions

These are busy times for the Night Zero team, and we’ve got some very exciting events coming up in the next few months. Production on episode four continued with a shoot at the old Sandpoint Way Naval Base last weekend, including some exciting smoke and fire effects for a dramatic scene near the end of the episode. This brings the shooting schedule of the episode at around 80% complete, although curiously it’s the middle and end portions that are complete, and the opening scenes that remain to be shot. Episode four, titled “Insecurity”, will begin its online run in four weeks.
